Momo Miso

Momo, a sleepy cream felt moth in a red cap and striped apron, looks up at a glowing pendant lamp above a miniature diner counter while his plate remains empty.

A LITTLE PLACE FOR LATE APPETITES

THE LAMP IS THE MAIN COURSE.

Momo Miso has prepared a table, straightened his apron and forgotten why either was necessary. Above the counter, the pendant light is coming on. He asks that you give him a moment. This is his favourite part of the menu.

He came for the glow.

Momo MisoMOTH / HOST / WINDOW ENTHUSIAST

The diner closes before Momo arrives. He enters through the gap beside the window, hangs his red cap on absolutely nothing and immediately puts it back on. Nobody hired him. He found an apron that fitted, and the arrangement has become difficult to question. Every evening he polishes the counter until the lamp appears in it twice. This is what he means by a generous portion.

Momo is a small felt moth with the expression of someone who has read a disappointing dessert menu. His wings spread wide behind him. His antennae lean towards whatever is warmest. He can carry several saucers at once, yet usually forgets where he intended to put them. The diner offers him everything he wants: soft seats, a quiet window and a light that never asks whether he is finished.

Momo polishes a saucer with a red-checked cloth behind a miniature counter lined with cups and a neat stack of saucers; his broad feathery antennae and patterned wings spread out behind him.
He has dressed for the occasion.
SMALL HOST, EXTENSIVE SAUCER COLLECTION

The apron made it official.

Momo found the striped apron beneath a stack of folded cloths. It was probably intended for a much smaller job. He tied it around himself, looked at his reflection in a spoon and began addressing the furniture as though it had booked ahead. The red cap followed shortly afterwards.

He keeps the saucers in a stack arranged by a system involving warmth, wobble and whether he likes the sound they make. The cloth is always close by. Sometimes he wipes the same patch of counter while staring at the lamp. It is less cleaning than giving his hands somewhere to be.

The bell above the door is too heavy for him. Instead, he looks expectantly at anyone arriving and makes a very small sound himself. Nobody has mentioned that they can see him doing it. He regards this as a charming personal touch.

ASK HIM ABOUT THE AMBIENCE

Season to his liking.

Turn the light up slowly and watch Momo develop an opinion. A little glow makes him curious. A comfortable middle setting gets the plate moved closer. Too much, and he begins to suspect the chef has become excited. The switch remembers your last lit setting, so you can leave the table for a moment and return to the same peculiar meal.

MOMO'S CURRENT OPINION

House recommendation

Momo has moved his plate underneath it. He would like everyone to stop discussing the soup.

A SMALL TABLE STORY

The regular, apparently.

A tiny moth lands outside the window every evening. Momo assumes it wants the usual and places a saucer beside the glass. Neither has established what the usual is. They sit on opposite sides, watching the pendant. When the visitor leaves, Momo clears both places and gives the window a small, professional nod. He has decided this is what a loyal customer looks like.

“Same again, then.”
FROM THE LOST PROPERTY SHELF

Someone left a sun.

A delivery driver forgets a pocket torch on the counter. Momo approaches it sideways, checks the red button and takes a careful step back when it lights up. By morning he has arranged a napkin beneath it and moved three chairs closer. The driver returns for the torch. Momo watches him put an entire afternoon into his jacket pocket and finds this behaviour difficult to forgive.

“You could have said it was takeaway.”
THE EVENING OF THE NEW BULB

A change in flavour.

Someone replaces the old warm bulb with a cooler one. Momo notices before he has climbed onto the stool. He looks up, looks at the plate, then looks up again. For several minutes he folds the same corner of his napkin. Eventually he moves to the window ledge. He is not making a complaint. He is making sure his silence is visible from the counter.

“Interesting. Is the old one resting?”
THE CORNER TABLE

A lamp for company.

He booked the booth for two. The second guest needed a socket.

Momo sits in a red miniature diner booth with a napkin, solemnly keeping a small glowing table lamp company; the lamp is served on a ceramic dinner plate.
A comfortable silence, with excellent table lighting.

The little table lamp arrived wrapped in a tea towel. Momo carried it to the booth with all four arms, placed it on the cleanest plate and sat opposite. He adjusted the shade until it seemed to be paying attention. Then he waited, pleasantly, for something to be said.

This is how the evening passes. A napkin moves. The lamp tilts slightly. Momo checks whether its side of the table has enough space. Outside, the pavement becomes quiet. Inside, a very small host feels that he has finally found someone who understands the importance of simply being warm in the right place.

THINGS ON THE LITTLE MENU / ROADMAP

More evenings to come.

Momo's world can grow one table, expression and strange little encounter at a time. The first table is set. The rest are planned creative chapters.

  1. Set the table

    CHAPTER ONE · SERVED

Momo, his diner and the first collection of original artwork are here, along with the project identity, square portrait and links. The character now has a clear home where visitors can meet him, read the stories and find the confirmed project details without searching behind the sugar jar.

  2. Invite the regulars

    CHAPTER TWO · PLANNED

Gather the community's favourite expressions, captions and tiny diner observations. Develop reusable meme images around Momo's specific habits: staring, rearranging saucers and quietly judging a bulb. The best contributions should feel as though they could have happened at the next table while nobody was looking directly at him.

  3. Try another table

    CHAPTER THREE · PLANNED

Explore new corners of the miniature diner through still artwork and short illustrated stories. Give Momo different lamps to misunderstand and small objects to treat with surprising affection. Keep the felt texture, red cap and sleepy expression consistent so each new scene feels like another visit to the same place.

  4. Keep the favourites

    CHAPTER FOUR · PLANNED

Collect the strongest community ideas into a small digital menu of scenes, crediting contributors where appropriate. Add new portraits and new reactions to the table light, while leaving room for an unexpected guest to take the window seat.

A WORD WITH YOUR HOST

Before the
lamp arrives.

Some useful answers while he adjusts the table setting for the third time.

Is Momo a moth or a waiter?

A moth who found an apron. The distinction matters more to the person who owns the apron than it does to Momo. He is an original fictional character made for this project, with a miniature felt world, a fondness for table settings and extremely particular feelings about light.

Does the light control anything else?

It changes the illustrated lamp and Momo's written reaction on this page. The setting stays within the current visit and returns to its starting point when the page reloads. It does not connect to a device, collect information or play sound. You may judge his taste in complete silence.

Where do I find the project details?

The “Momo, in writing” panel holds the contract address with a copy button, plus the Pump.fun page and Momo's X account. Check that the address matches the one on Pump.fun.

Can I suggest something for Momo?

Bring your diner stories, expressions and oddly specific lamp opinions to Momo on X. A good suggestion gives Momo a little situation he can misunderstand in his own way. Community ideas selected for future artwork or collections can become part of the planned creative chapters.

YOUR TABLE CAN WAIT

Stay until the light softens.

Momo has placed another saucer on the counter. Perhaps it is for you. Perhaps he likes the reflection better from this angle. There is no need to settle that immediately. Take the comfortable seat, find the project through the links below and allow the smallest host in the room to enjoy his very large opinion about the lamp.
